VP/Associate - Institutional Equity Sales
Job Description
- Expand and establish good business relationship with institutional accounts (e.g. Mutual funds/Hedge funds/Insurance/Pensions/Banks/Family offices)
- Present investment opportunities on products and services (e.g. research/primary & secondary deals/other products) to clients based on their needs Pitch equity research and ideas, conduct client meetings/calls, address client requests and follow up tasks
- Cover the designated market and region, prepare and execute sales plan, act as a productive resource by meeting expectation and target set by the team and the organisation.
- Support the team on day-to-day client activities and strategic initiatives
Requirements
- At least 5 years' experience in the industry with insightful knowledge of regional markets and institutional clients
- Profound knowledge in products & services in the equity universe, expertise in equity related business such as equity financing and structured products is a plus.
- Good track record of covering institutional clients, a coverage of regional family offices and corporates is a plus.
- Customer-oriented and able to identify client's investment behaviour and orientation
- Excellent interpersonal skills and high fluency in Mandarin and English as incumbent needs to liaise with HO colleagues and clients
- Confident, able to work independent and under pressure
