VP of Commercial

You will build and lead a high-performance commercial team, develop and execute commercial strategies, and negotiate complex, high-value deals with merchants and partners. You will work closely with Customer Operations to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing account management, and partner with product, marketing, finance, and operations to scale sales processes, identify market opportunities, and provide customer insights to drive product improvements.

  • Oversee marketing collaborations to align sales and promotional materials with commercial goals
  • Work with finance and operations to ensure scalable and efficient sales processes

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the payments industry responsible for selling at least USD200mn in annual transaction volume
  • Deep industry expertise in global payments (for example Global Payments, WorldPay, Fiserv or similar)
  • Proven track record of developing and executing commercial strategies that drive revenue growth
  • Strong negotiation and deal closing skills with experience in complex sales cycles
  • Experience working closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to optimise the commercial function
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and drive results
  • Proactive and adaptable mindset that thrives in a fast-moving, high-growth environment
  • Strong communication and relationship building abilities with internal stakeholders and external partners
