VP, Sales (Financing)

You will own and grow an institutional lending book by sourcing borrowers and lenders, structuring and pricing collateralized lending and financing transactions, and managing counterparty relationships. You will be P&L-accountable, negotiate term sheets, coordinate with risk, legal and operations on onboarding and collateral management, maintain CRM and pipeline reporting, and represent the business at industry events. Over time you will scale the desk and build a financing team.

Responsibilities

• Originate and execute institutional crypto lending, borrowing, and financing transactions
• Build and scale the lending book and optimise utilisation
• Develop and own borrower relationships across hedge funds, market makers, OTC desks, prop trading firms, miners, and corporate treasuries
• Work with institutional sales to cross-sell financing products
• Structure, price, and negotiate commercial and credit terms and own term sheets through to execution
• Partner with risk and operations on counterparty onboarding, margining frameworks, collateral management, and exposure monitoring
• Maintain financing pipeline hygiene and HubSpot CRM accuracy and produce weekly reporting
• Represent the firm at industry conferences, client events, and panels

Requirements

• 7–10 years relevant experience in institutional financing, securities lending, prime brokerage, repo, or crypto lending
• Proven track record originating and growing a lending book
• Existing network of institutional borrowers and lenders
• Deep understanding of collateralized lending mechanics including LTVs, margining, haircuts, liquidation, rehypothecation, and tri-party structures
• Hands-on familiarity with risk and collateral dashboards such as Haruko
• Strong commercial and structuring instincts and pricing experience
• Credit-aware and able to work with risk and legal on lending decisions
• Comfortable discussing custody, collateral segregation, on-chain settlement, and stablecoin mechanics
• Strong written and verbal English; Mandarin fluency a strong plus
• Highly comfortable using AI tools (e.g., Claude) in origination and analysis
