VP Solution Architect, GMET
Job Description:
- Manage and analyse the requirements into solutions without impacting any existing implementations.
- Mxml,Report/Datamart configuration, development, support, and troubleshooting.
- Analyse the business processes and propose the changes / solutions.
- To work in Murex Simulations, Value at Risk (VaR), Market Risk Aggregator (MRA),Murex Limits Controller (MLC) and other Modules.
- Python scripting, End of Day (EOD) processing (using Control M) and optimization of scripts, Java.
- Build a strong relationship and manage expectations with users and stake holders.
- To contribute ideas on technical solution for the business requirements.
- Strong hands-on experience with Murex (MX.3), specifically MXML, Datamart/Reporting, and core risk modules (VaR, MRA, MLC).
- Proficiency in Python and Java for scripting, automation, and performance optimisation in production environments.
- Solid understanding of market risk concepts and front-to-back trade lifecycle within a banking environment.
- Experience with batch processing and scheduling tools (e.g., Control M) and managing End-of-Day (EOD) processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical teams and business users.
- Self-driven, collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-availability environment.
