Waitperson - Brew Brothers
Provides prompt, courteous food service to Harrah’s and Caesars Republic guests in accordance with established procedures.
- Serves customers at assigned station quickly, courteously and efficiently to ensure department guarantee is satisfied.
- Assists customers in ordering from the menu and records ordered items on check according to established procedures.
- Obtains food and beverage from prescribed locations and serves customers according to established procedures.
- Observes guests to fulfill and additional requests and to note when meal is finished.
- Processes checks through the POS system and presents check to guest for payment on conclusion of dining experience.
- Assists, as necessary, in cleaning and re-setting tables, escorting guests from waiting area to table in his/her assigned section.
- Assists bus persons in a cooperative manner to ensure efficient service to guests.
- Completes assigned side work as directed.
- Familiarizes self with all items on both printed and daily menus.
- Uses good salesmanship for suggestive selling of menu items, beverages, desserts, etc.
- Processes all open checks and ensures they are properly tendered and/or accounted for at end of shift.
- Familiarizes self and adheres to the principles of guest service skills, and uses them in all interactions.
- Delivers alcoholic beverages promptly from assigned bar to table
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred
- 2 years Waitperson experience preferred
- Literate and fluent in English
- Above average communication and guest service skills
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
- Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same. Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift and carry large, heavy banquet trays and beverage trays weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to grasp, hold, reach, bend, push-pull, use a step stool, have hand-eye coordination
- Ability to constantly walk and stand during shift
- Mobility to move quickly and easily throughout the restaurant and kitchen areas
- Ability to hear and use visual inspection
- Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy
environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.
