Warehouse Associate


Primary Purpose:

Receive, store, and distribute materials efficiently and accurately.


Qualifications:

  • Ability to handle materials, including receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing inventory.
  • Ability to learn or already know how to drive a forklift, use pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and write and do basic math (cycle counting).
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to get along with teammates.
  • Ability to lift up to and including 50 lbs. often, occasionally more with assistance.
  • 1-2 years warehouse/picking/packing experience


Daily Responsibilities:

  • Hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Follow all forklift rules and safety regulations.
  • Perform necessary housekeeping duties to keep the warehouse neat and organized.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders or delivery documents.
  • Unload and sort materials. Label properly and store properly.
  • Prepare materials for shipment including packaging, labeling and completing necessary documentation.
  • Assist in inventory control activities.



Experience:

  • Warehouse experience.
  • Prior forklift certification preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
