Warehouse Associate
Primary Purpose:
Receive, store, and distribute materials efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications:
- Ability to handle materials, including receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing inventory.
- Ability to learn or already know how to drive a forklift, use pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to pay attention to detail.
- Ability to read and write and do basic math (cycle counting).
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to get along with teammates.
- Ability to lift up to and including 50 lbs. often, occasionally more with assistance.
- 1-2 years warehouse/picking/packing experience
Daily Responsibilities:
- Hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Follow all forklift rules and safety regulations.
- Perform necessary housekeeping duties to keep the warehouse neat and organized.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders or delivery documents.
- Unload and sort materials. Label properly and store properly.
- Prepare materials for shipment including packaging, labeling and completing necessary documentation.
- Assist in inventory control activities.
Experience:
- Warehouse experience.
- Prior forklift certification preferred.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
