The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing fire and life safety equipment and materials. This role ensures accurate inventory management and timely fulfillment of orders to support inspection, service, and installation teams while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of fire and life safety equipment (e.g., fire extinguishers, sprinkler components, alarm devices).
· Pick, pack, and stage materials for technicians and installation crews.
· Maintain accurate inventory records and perform routine cycle counts.
· Organize and store materials in accordance with company procedures and industry standards (NFPA, OSHA where applicable).
· Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of regulated materials, including compressed cylinders and chemicals.
· Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
· Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
· Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or shortages.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
· Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
· Other duties as assigned by management.
Education/Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· 1+ years of warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
· Basic knowledge of inventory systems or warehouse management software.
· Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
· Forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
· Preferred: Experience with fire protection equipment and/or familiarity with NFPA standards.

· Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50+ lbs regularly.
· Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
· Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
· Use of hands and arms for handling materials and operating equipment.
