Warehouse Coordinator
Job Summary
Record and maintain control of all inventory items purchased and produced. Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures. Handle, receive, identify, store, distribute, pick, pack, and ship materials, supplies, components and equipment in the most efficient manner.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in shipping, receiving, picking when needed.
- Read appropriate warehouse documentation to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed or shipped.
- Move/Handle items to appropriate areas.
- Assist production and facility with material movement and repositioning.
- Record movements within ERP system in a timely manner.
- Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
- Responsible for operating the warehouse machinery in a safe manner and reporting any equipment maintenance or problems.
- Working under limited supervision for non-routine situations.
- Training, delegating and reviewing work of contractual employees.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
Facility/Group Specific Responsibilities
- Enter inventory movements and other data into ERP system as needed.
- Assist warehouse in execution of warehouse processes.
- Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments
- Process shipping and receiving documentation, including delivery notes and invoices.
- Ensure proper labelling, storage, and handling of inventory.
- Investigate and resolve inventory, shipping, or receiving issues.
- Prepare reports on inventory status, stock movements, and warehouse performance.
- Assist in implementing warehouse process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Heavy forklift experience preferred.
- Experience with ERP software preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft office with strong Excel skills.
- Ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 lbs.
Education & Experience Qualifications
- Diploma, or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory management.
