Warehouse Coordinator
Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Coordinator, AD INTERIM Contract for a 12 months contract at our Client Site in Ploiesti -Romania.

The Role
He / she has to ensure the construction contractors’ activities comply with all aspects of Health, Safety, Environment and Security (HSES) policy, site regulations, permit to work procedures and Client requirements.

The key objectives for this role are:
- Responsible from the management of materials at site
- Management and operation of AMUSE system
- Material receipt, storage, preservation and delivery to contractors
- Check and filing of material certificates
- Availablity checks for definition of work fronts
- Warehouse inventory and hand over
- Ascertain that all people concerned understand and follow Material Management Procedure
- Receive material from transporter and ensure that material arrival is properly organized; review with site security the procedure of truck entrance in order to ensure smooth flow of traffic within the site
- Provide to unload material on arrival utilizing proper sub-contractors
- Check that received material is complying with requirements in terms of quantity and quality
- Store materials in allocated areas
- Provide storage allocation plan
- Report to Project Manager and Construction Manager, about damaged or lost material
- Keep records up-to-date of all materials arrived in field, and of all materials withdrawn from warehouse in accordance with established procedures
- Record of material orders and invoices and custom documents (if applicable)
- Record material requisition and update
- Keep record of daily hours done by store personal
- Prepare list of spare parts to be left to Client
- Archive Material certificates
- Check that bulk material is correctly identified (following PMI system, if applicable) as per colour coding
- Verify that material is in accordance with certificates
- Initiate “back charges” to Vendors and prepare the required documentation for Construction Manager
- Take care of equipment and materials preservation as per relevant procedure

- Minimum 5 years experience in construction
- Fluent in English and Romanian language
- Availability to work at site
- Eligible to work in Romania
