Warehouse Executive

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Purchasing

  • Manage end-to-end purchasing of warehouse materials including TCM herbs, brewing ingredients, packaging materials (bottles, labels, caps), and consumables.
  • Source suppliers, negotiate pricing, and maintain strong vendor relationships while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Prepare purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies with suppliers.
  • Monitor inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstocking of critical items.

Inventory Management & Stock Control

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
  • Maintain accurate stock records in the ERP.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and full stocktakes.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.

Warehouse Operations

  • Ensure proper storage conditions (temperature, humidity, pest control) for sensitive herbal and brewery materials.
  • Prepare and manage outbound shipments to distributors, retailers, and export customers.
  • Monitor warehouse space utilization and suggest improvements for efficiency.

Compliance & Safety

  • Adhere to relevant regulatory requirements for TCM and food safety.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the warehouse.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure proper handling of materials.
  • Assist in audits (internal, external, or regulatory).

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Generate regular reports on stock levels, consumption, purchase status, and warehouse KPIs.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize processes, reduce waste, and lower costs.
  • Support the implementation of warehouse best practices and digital tools.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, preferably in food & beverage, brewery, pharmaceutical, or TCM/herbal products industry.
  • Hands-on experience with purchasing, inventory management, and stocktaking.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and procurement processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and inventory software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and able to work in a warehouse environment.
  • Knowledge of TCM ingredients or brewery operations is a strong advantage.
