Warehouse Manager
We are currently recruiting for the position of Warehouse Manager for our Brisbane distribution centre based in Richlands.
Reporting directly to our Operations Manager - Oceania, you will be responsible for providing planning and leadership to a team of up to 20 members, including 3 direct reports. This is a highly hands-on role where you will work closely with the team to understand the current ways of working, identify operational efficiencies, and implement strategies and small wins to increase productivity.
Responsibilities include:
Taking a hands-on approach to oversee daily logistics requirements, customer orders, receiving of incoming stock, dispatch, and inventory accuracy.
Working alongside the warehouse team to understand existing processes, identify operational efficiencies, and action continuous improvements.
Managing people responsibilities including hiring, training, planning daily work, conducting performance appraisals, and coaching the team.
Managing warehouse Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), promoting a safe work culture, and fostering a positive work environment.
Collaborating with peers and serving internal customers to coordinate department activities.
About you – Skills, experience, and qualifications:
5+ years' warehouse supervision or management experience.
A strongly hands-on approach with a proven ability to understand current operations and identify areas for improvement.
Proven leadership in building, coaching, and motivating teams to create a culture of high performance.
Strong problem-solving, organisational, and multitasking skills.
Up-to-date knowledge of WH&S requirements and compliance.
Computer literate; possessing a forklift (LF) licence is highly regarded.
