Warehouse Operations Associate (m/w/x)
About Grover
Founded in 2015, Grover enables consumers and businesses across Europe to subscribe to tech devices and comprehensive technology solutions - from individual smartphones, laptops, and wearables to full corporate device setups. The company offers access to over 1,000 unique tech items on flexible and financially convenient terms. A pioneer of the circular economy, Grover refurbishes and recirculates devices to help eliminate e-waste.
To continue this incredible adventure, we are currently looking for Warehouse Operations Associates to join our talented Circular Supply Chain team full-time (40 hours/week) onsite 5 days a week in the Berlin Metropolitan area.
We are hiring across four core operational tracks: Picking & Packing, Inbound and Inventory Management. Depending on your background, skills, and experience level, you will start by supporting the stream where you can make the biggest impact. Because we are rapidly scaling our operations, this is just your starting point - we actively provide cross-training and skill rotation, offering you massive room for internal development and upward progression across our entire supply chain.
Within any stream, you will be a key contributor to our day-to-day operational rhythm. Working closely with your Team Lead, you will ensure that tech assets are safely handled, accurately tracked, and securely processed, maintaining a smooth and efficient flow of products through our circular supply chain.
🎯 What you will contribute:
- Operational Execution: Master the daily rhythms of your assigned track - whether running fulfillment lines, operating machinery, evaluating returned tech hardware, or overseeing inventory.
- Inbound & Outbound Handling: Handle daily inbound and outbound processes, including receiving shipments (unloading trucks), unpacking devices, picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for secure and timely dispatch.
- Ergonomic Load Management: Safely handle consumer electronics and packages in line with German health and safety standards (Lastenhandhabungsverordnung), utilizing provided mechanical lifting aids where appropriate. Occasional handling of heavier items (up to 30 kg) will always be done with team lifting or mechanical assistance.
- Inventory Control: Put away, pick, and pack goods while performing regular stock counts, organizing storage areas, and verifying serial numbers.
- Digital Logging: Utilize handheld Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and barcode scanners to ensure every item is accurately logged in our system.
- Quality & Safety Assurance: Identify and report any product damage or discrepancies to the Team Lead immediately. Maintain a clean, organized workstation and strictly follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
🤝 What you bring:
- Experience: Practical experience in a warehouse, logistics, or fulfilment environment is preferred (ideally within e-commerce or consumer electronics). Additional experience with light grading, returns triage, or handling B-stock is a strong plus.
- Tech-Savviness: Comfort using digital warehouse tools, including handheld scanners and basic inventory software.
- Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail, especially when matching serial numbers and tracking product inventory.
- Stamina & Safety Focus: Great reliability, a collaborative work ethic, and the physical stamina required for walking, standing, and lifting under safe ergonomic guidelines.
- Targeted Skills (Strong Pluses): A valid forklift certification (Flurförderzeugschein) is highly valued for our equipment-focused logistics tracks.
- Language Skills: Good communication skills in English. B2+ German and additional languages would be considered a strong plus.
