JOB PURPOSE


The Warehouse Shift Leader is a key role responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the warehouse during a specific shift. This role involves leading a team of warehouse staff, ensuring efficient and accurate execution of tasks, and maintaining a safe and organized working environment. Also focusing on the accurate and efficient repacking of products. This role involves inspecting, repackaging, and labeling items to meet quality standards and customer requirements.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Enforcing safety on the ground and ensuring 100% compliance with government, customer as well and internal company safety rules.
  • Assessing safety risks and ensuring no safety incidents happen during work by proper risk management and prevention.
  • Ensuring the quality of the goods stored and delivered meets customer as well as company quality standards. Reducing and minimizing quality incidents during work.
  • Supervising the implementation of plans, procedures, and policies on Warehouse operation which includes product receiving and inspection, product storage and rotation, order selection, loading, products & personnel safety, and outside a warehouse.
  • Handling warehouse capacity and manpower planning.
  • Perform quality checks on repacked products to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline repacking processes.
  • Report any issues or challenges that may impact repacking operations.
  • Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure a smooth flow of products through the repacking process.
  • Assisting in customer service with customer inquiries.
  • Performing other tasks assigned by the superior from time to time.



QUALIFICATION



  • A High school diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • More than 5 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations and repacking.
  • Strong leadership & discipline to oversee and motivate warehouse staff.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with staff, upper management, and external stakeholders, such as suppliers and transportation companies.
  • Firm believer & enforcer in following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) & safety standards.
  • A strong commitment to safety and knowledge of safety regulations and procedures within a warehouse environment.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to relevant regulations and compliance standards, such as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.
  • A forklift license is required.
