Warehouse Supervisor

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Client Site, Dublin

Overview of the Role:

The Warehouse Supervisor will act as the lead operative within the State Warehouse team and will support the safe, secure and efficient handling, movement, storage, inventory control and preparation of seized, detained and other goods held by Revenue. The role will combine hands-on warehouse duties with daily supervision of warehouse activities, ensuring that all work is completed safely, accurately, confidentially and in accordance with Revenue requirements, contractor procedures, and applicable health, safety, environmental and security obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage warehouse operations including receipt, storage, and dispatch of seized goods

  • Oversee manual handling of sealed bags, boxes, and other materials

  • Manage loading and unloading of boxes, crates, and pallets

  • Operate and supervise the safe operation of Aisle Master forklifts

  • Manage stock inventory and check-in/check-out of goods using Revenue's in-house inventory management system

  • Start and move motor vehicles including articulated and rigid trucks

  • Operating shredding equipment for secure destruction of goods

  • Ensure compliance with site security, confidentiality, health and safety protocols and procedures

  • Report to Revenue's Contract Manager on operational matters

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all warehouse activities

  • Ensure secure transportation and storage of goods in custody

  • Support preparation of goods for disposal, destruction or transport.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Current valid forklift driving licence

  • Training in manual handling techniques

  • Supervisory experience

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Basic computer literacy for inventory management system use

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations

  • Ability to work in a security-conscious environment

  • Desirable : Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Driving Experience

  • Desirable :CE licence for onsite work
