Warehouse Team Leader (Late Shift 6PM- 2AM) - Darlington - Supply Chain

As a Warehouse Team Leader based in Darlington, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading and motivating a team of warehouse operatives to achieve and exceed KPIs and deliver excellent customer service.

  • Ensuring all operational processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with health, safety, and environmental standards.

  • Managing all aspects of people leadership, including performance reviews, absence management, holiday approvals, and training.

  • Maintaining stock integrity through cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and correct product handling.

  • Coordinating daily workflow and resource deployment to meet service targets, ensuring smooth operational flow across picking, packing, replenishment, and loading.

The role is full-time, working 37.5 hours a week between 6 am and 2 am.

And here’s what we’d like you to have:

  • Proven experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory role within a high-volume, service-focused warehouse environment.

  • Strong people management skills, including coaching, training, and handling performance and disciplinary processes.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively influence and resolve issues.

  • Competent in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF technology.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping while driving operational efficiency.
