Warehouse Worker II - Orem, UT

Job Summary

Assist the warehouse in receiving and shipping needs.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for receiving, storing and shipping merchandise kept in warehouses

• Ensuring the cleanliness and proper stocking of inventory in the work area.

• Proper packing, labeling and tagging of the inventory in the warehouse.

• Coordinating work with fellow workers and other team members.

• Maintaining quality in the warehouse and keeping track of all damaged inventory and reporting the same to the supervising authorities

• Maintaining cycle count of all warehouse inventories and reporting discrepancies to the supervising manager.

• Ensuring the cleanliness and proper stocking of inventory in the work area

• Loading and unloading of trucks, forklifts, and other warehouse machinery and equipment.

Education/ Experience

Forklift certification preferred but not required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• The warehouse worker II will have mastered all the KSA assigned to Warehouse Worker I and will become proficient in the following:

• Completes cycle counts every week as part of their standard work

• Has on time attendance to work and meetings of 98% or above

• Demonstrated ability to be a daily problem solver, using lean methodologies

Compensation

• Pay Range Starting at $18/hr

Work Schedule

• Compressed workweek consisting of four 10-hour days, totaling 40 hours weekly
