Warranty Services Representative
TAMKO is hiring a Warranty Services Representative to join our corporate office in Joplin, MO. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering outstanding customer service by reviewing, investigating, and resolving warranty claims. Using your knowledge of TAMKO products and services, you will evaluate claims, inspect submitted shingle samples for manufacturing and installation issues, communicate effectively with customers, and ensure they receive clear, timely, and professional support throughout the claims process.
This is a hybrid position that combines working from home and working in the office and/or the Visual Inspection Lab, as directed by TAMKO based on business and operational needs.

- Communicate clearly, professionally, and courteously with homeowners, roofing contractors, dealers, and distributors regarding TAMKO warranty claims.
- Review warranty claims, photographs, and supporting documentation to determine warranty coverage.
- Visually inspect customer-submitted shingle samples for manufacturing defects, installation issues (including nail placement), proper storage and handling, and other conditions that may affect claim eligibility.
- Utilize computer systems and AI-powered tools to efficiently manage, evaluate, and improve warranty claim processes while enhancing productivity and decision-making.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Provide feedback and recommendations that enhance customer service and support a culture of automation, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Perform administrative tasks, including organizing daily mail, claim files, and related documentation.
- Serve as a trusted resource by resolving customer concerns promptly, accurately, and professionally.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new software applications and AI-powered tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to teamwork, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, with the willingness to work overtime from home as needed, up to 55 hours per week.

- The work environment includes office and laboratory settings, with the opportunity to work from home as part of a hybrid schedule directed by TAMKO.
