SALARY: $85,000 - $95,000/USD

Job Summary:

This role supports the Sales and Technical teams by leading the setup, operation, maintenance, and repair of proprietary wastewater treatment pilot systems and full-scale testing of Cesco water treatment chemistries at various food processing and other industrial client facilities for trials and field applications. The position involves commissioning pilot equipment and/or full-scale testing at customer sites, ensuring systems run effectively, and supporting ongoing optimization of Cesco’s chemical treatment programs in food processing and other industrial environments.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and customers to establish treatment programs, collect and interpret performance data, and make informed, data-driven adjustments to improve system outcomes. Strong communication skills are essential, as this role serves as a key link between operations, customers, and the technical and commercial teams.

This position requires flexibility, as work may occur outside of standard business hours depending on project and customer needs. Travel is a significant component of the role, estimated at 50–90% throughout the dedicated regions. When not onsite for work, remote work is expected.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Set up, commission, and operate proprietary Cesco wastewater treatment pilot systems and/or full-scale testing at customer sites
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pilot equipment, pumps, feed systems, controls, and related components
  • Support installation and startup of treatment equipment and chemical feed systems in heavy industrial environments
  • Collect, record, and analyze operational and performance data from pilot and full-scale systems
  • Use data to make informed, real-time adjustments to chemical programs and system operation to optimize performance
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining customer accounts for Cesco
  • Provide technical field support to Sales and Technical teams during trials, evaluations, and ongoing programs
  • Document system performance, service activities, and site conditions through service reports and internal communication
  • Ensure equipment and site work are completed safely and in compliance with customer and company safety standards
  • Support equipment logistics, preparation, and refurbishment between deployments


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of technical experience in water and wastewater treatment
  • 5+ years experience with plumbing and electrical, industrial chemicals, general mechanical skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be able to work outside of standard operating hours as needed; travel 50-90% throughout defined regions. When not onsite, remote work is expected.
  • English fluency.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • This role will require the ability to move, stand, sit, bend, lift, and turn freely. Must be able to handle tools and operate equipment while using proper PPE at all times. Understanding and handling of water treatment chemistries is required. Position will be required to visit customer sites which may include but is not limited to: manufacturing sites, water treatment facilities, mills, or related. Will be required to be in adverse weather conditions.
