In the role of Water Resources Design EIT/Coordinator, we'll count on you to\:
  • Assist project engineers and senior engineers in water resources projects. Examples include\: watershed assessments, water supply long-term planning, and floodplain analysis, high-level water resources studies.
  • Field and desktop data collection.
  • Hydrologic analysis and model development.
  • One- and two-dimensional hydraulic analysis and model development.
  • Prepare engineering design calculations.
  • Environmental permitting support.
    Technical report development.
  • Development of visual aids for client and stakeholder presentations.
  • Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
  • Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression
  • Basic knowledge of industry standard software, including\: Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, and HEC-HMS.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments successfully.
  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or other related field.
