What You’ll Be Doing

  • Complete daily weed spraying schedules
  • Operate spraying equipment using IPM principles
  • Prepare and mix herbicide chemicals safely
  • Clean and maintain spraying equipment
  • Comply with traffic management procedures
  • Report servicing needs for plant and equipment
  • Assist with general parks maintenance as needed
  • Attend toolbox meetings and promote safety
  • Maintain high standards of work quality

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a hands-on team player with a passion for outdoor work. You’ll ideally bring:

  • Herbicide Spray Operators Certificate (desirable)
  • Certificate as Traffic Controller (desirable)
  • Certificate in Horticulture or relevant experience (desirable)
  • Basic First Aid Certificate (desirable)
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
