Welder 1st Shift
Job Summary
- Welding in a fast-paced production-style environment.
- Production type welding using wire feed ar welders on a welding line.
- Repetitive lifting of materials and product throughout the process up to 50 lbs.
- Will be standing at all jobs.
- Will be required to work at a steady pace to keep the welding line running smoothly.
- Troubleshoot weld problem and make adjustments to correct welding problems such as pin holes,undercut and high or low weld.
- Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
- Must be able to learn how to identify welding defects and use weld gauges.
- Assemble and MIG weld parts following blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions.
- Conduct quality inspections of work.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition and report maintenance and safety concerns.
- Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects.
- Must be flexible in the department and help wherever needed.
- Welding experience
- Blueprint reading
- Mechanical ability
- Must have reliable transportation to/from work
- Must be able to report to work each day for your scheduled shift.
- Team player, safety conscious, quality minded, good work habits and attendance
- Willing to work overtime as needed.
