Seeking Transitioning Service Members for Skill-bridge/Internship Opportunities

As part of the team, you’ll be expected to:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools (MIG, TIG, Stick, arc, etc.).
  • Cut, prep, align, clamp, and assemble metal components precisely to spec.
  • Weld in various positions (flat, vertical, overhead) as needed.
  • Inspect finished welds for quality, strength, and compliance with project specs and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
For candidates in a lead role / Welding Foreman: additionally
  • Guide, train, and mentor less-experienced welders.
  • Oversee projects on-site, coordinate tasks, manage materials/equipment, and ensure quality control and timely completion.

  • High-school diploma or equivalent (or GED) or submitted proof of welding apprenticeship/training.
  • Basic welding experience (for entry-level) or 3–5+ years welding/metal fabrication experience (for experienced roles).
  • Ability to read technical drawings/blueprints.
  • Familiarity with standard welding tools and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, safety awareness, and physical stamina (lifting, standing, manual labor).
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a hands-on environment.
Preferred (but not required):
  • Certification from a recognized welding program or apprenticeship.
  • Prior experience with structural/steel fabrication or working on construction sites.
