WFS Business Process Analyst
MAIN PURPOSE<\/b><\/span><\/span>

\u2022 By using an analytical approach, drive and optimise business value\-based process design and \nimprovement, including the optimisation of existing processes, re\-engineering and design of new processes, \nunderstanding drivers for change, and ensuring sustainability of processes post implementation across \nfunctional areas.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\n\u2022 To optimise business performance through efficiency enhancements and process re\-engineering \ntechniques.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\n\u2022 To translate business requirements into workable business process models/business process \narchitecture/functional requirements with managed business impact.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\n\u2022 To manage implementation and tracking of innovative continuous improvement projects. \n\u2022 Support and maintain the current process management capability for WFS to assist in delivery of WFS \nOperating Plan projects and initiatives as required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/b>

Analysis<\/b>
<\/div>
<\/div>
- Display a good understanding of the business area and its processes, to thereby analyse and \nevaluate current and proposed business processes (process analysis) and to provide input into \nprioritising key business improvement projects.
<\/span><\/li>- Analyse business or systems problems and facilitate business solution exploration (problem \nanalysis).
<\/span><\/li>- Define the process of how process improvement requests / suggestions are filtered up from \nbusiness.
<\/span><\/li>- Model and maintain all business processes within a defined process governance structure
<\/span><\/li><\/ul>Business Requirements Specification (BRS)<\/b>
<\/div>- Work with the business to understand the business requirement and develop the Business \nRequirement Specification.
<\/span><\/li>- Obtain consensus on scope where requirements are extracted from multiple departments \n/divisions through various engagement with Business, Developers, System Analysts and Testers \n(Facilitate JAD sessions).
<\/span><\/li><\/ul>Projects<\/b>
<\/div>- Pipeline: Provide input in pipeline of prioritized potential process improvement projects for the \nBusiness.
<\/span><\/li>- \nTesting: Ensure the integrity of the solution in accordance with the business requirements by \nparticipating in testing (UAT included). \nChange Management: Support the change management process by providing up to date lists of \nassigned projects as wells as identifying and communicating impacts, risks and issues timeously.
<\/span><\/li>- \nProject Definition: Work with the project manager to develop the Project Definition Report.
<\/span><\/li>- \nTraining: Guide the preparation of or prepare software manuals and guides with the change \nmanager and participate, where required, in project training.
<\/span><\/li>- \nMetrics: Track implemented solutions against agreed improvement metrics.<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Systems Development/Integration Specification<\/b>
<\/div>- Initiate systems development with the Solutions Architect by giving input into the Technical and \nIntegration Specification.<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Continuous Improvement<\/b><\/span>
<\/div>- Continuously identify opportunities to improve and streamline solutions.

<\/div><\/span>Requirements<\/h3>
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION<\/b>
<\/div>
<\/div>\n\u2022 Commercial or Information Technology degree
<\/div>
<\/div>\nEXPERIENCE REQUIRED<\/b>
<\/div>- 5 years relevant experience in a Business Process Analyst role. \no Preferably 3 years IT experience in a Financial Services environment.
