Job Description
The Wholesale Trade Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s wholesale trading operations, supplier coordination, inventory planning, customer relationship management, and business development activities. The role involves managing import and export coordination, monitoring sales performance, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and supporting overall operational efficiency.
The candidate will work closely with suppliers, logistics partners, and clients to ensure smooth business operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily wholesale trading and operational activities
- Coordinate procurement, sourcing, and supplier management
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers and business partners
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment
- Handle import and export documentation and shipment coordination
- Prepare quotations, invoices, purchase orders, and sales reports
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with suppliers
- Coordinate logistics and delivery arrangements with freight partners
- Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Singapore trade regulations
- Monitor sales targets and operational performance
- Support management in strategic planning and business expansion
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in wholesale trade, procurement, logistics, or operations management
- Knowledge of import/export procedures and trading operations
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to manage multiple operational tasks independently
- Strong coordination and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
