The candidate requisite Wildlife Technician position requires assisting in managing waterfowl populations on NYC water supply reservoirs in Westchester Co, NY, largely in Valhalla and Yonkers, NY. Primary tasks will include observing and recording waterfowl and gull species data, as well as implementing methods to deter populations from roosting on several New York City reservoirs. Work will be performed outdoors at various locations on and around targeted reservoirs from small boats (18’ center console/jon boat), airboats or 4WD vehicles.
