JOB TITLE:
Office Aide
Modern & Classical Languages
Job location: Hoyt Hall
Pay rate or range: $12.50/hour
JOB PURPOSE:
Assist office staff with clerical duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform receptionist duties: answering phones and assisting department visitors.
Assist with workroom duties: sorting mail, copying/scanning materials, stocking workroom supplies.
Assist with major projects of the department: RMMLA journal and conference project support, World Languages day project support.
Additional clerical duties may be assigned including but not limited to: marketing material creation and distribution, assisting faculty and students in department with questions or problems related to the workroom, maintaining web pages.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Six months of experience in an office environment.
Must be eligible, have received and accepted work study award through Student Financial Aid for the applicable semester and/or academic year.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prefer experience with office copiers, book scanning, and Microsoft office software.
EDUCATIONAL BENEFITS APPLICABLE TO CAREERS:
Working with the public, office machine experience, trouble-shooting skills, website maintenance experience, project management.

WORK LOCATION:
On-campus: This position provides vital support to campus customers, and the successful candidate must be available to work and perform essential job functions on campus, understanding our location is at 7,220 feet above sea level.
