Workday Functional Analyst

Modules: HCM & Any Other Workday Module

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Workday Functional Analyst with experience in Workday HCM and exposure to one or more additional Workday modules. The candidate will support Workday implementation, enhancement, and production support activities while working closely with senior consultants, HR teams, and business stakeholders. This role is ideal for professionals looking to build strong functional expertise across Workday applications.

Key Responsibilities

Workday HCM Support

  • Support configuration and maintenance of Workday HCM processes and transactions.
  • Assist in managing Data Load, Worker data, Job change processes, Organizational structures, Business processes, Data Load
  • Support HR operations and troubleshoot HCM-related issues.
  • Assist in data validation, testing, and system audits.

Additional Workday Module Support

  • Provide functional support for at least one additional Workday module such as:
    • Compensation
    • Benefits
    • Talent & Performance
    • Learning
  • Assist with module configuration, testing, and issue resolution.
  • Support release management and enhancement activities.

General Responsibilities

  • Gather and document business requirements.
  • Prepare functional design and configuration documentation.
  • Assist business stakeholders to perform SIT, UAT.
  • Support Workday releases and feature adoption initiatives.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and calculated fields and Collaborate with integration, security, and cross functional teams.
  • Provide end-user support and training assistance and Maintain process documentation and knowledge repositories.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Workday HCM support or implementation projects.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Workday HCM functionality.
  • Exposure to at least one additional Workday module.
  • Understanding of Workday business processes and reporting concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Workday certification or training in HCM or related modules preferred.
  • Exposure to Agile or project-based work environments.
  • Knowledge of Workday release cycles and testing processes.
