A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for Workflow Delivery Manager reporting to the Workflow Delivery Senior Optimisation Manager.

A bit about your role

As the Workflow Delivery Manager, you will lead a highly skilled team of Workflow Optimisers and Alert Officers, guiding the orchestration of scheduling and dispatch activities across complex field operations. You will play a central role in matching customer demand with the right field capability, ensuring that every interaction reflects nbn’s commitment to quality, care, and efficiency. Through thoughtful coordination of systems, people, and processes, you will help deliver outstanding customer and operational outcomes across Service and Network portfolios.

In this role, you will foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, empowering your people through coaching, performance development, and clear purpose. You will bring structure and clarity to fast-paced operations, leading daily stand-ups and engaging closely with Service Delivery Partners and internal stakeholders to achieve shared goals. With a strong grasp of workflow systems, scheduling optimisation, and operational playbooks, you will guide your team in navigating complexity while continuously improving performance, productivity, and safety outcomes.

You will also be instrumental in driving transformation, supporting the implementation of new technologies and data-led insights that enhance scheduling, automation, and decision-making. Your ability to identify trends, anticipate risks, and gently remove barriers will ensure your team remains focused, resilient, and aligned to business priorities. Balancing customer, field, and commercial considerations, you will contribute to a sustainable and thriving field workforce while maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance, and wellbeing.

A bit about you

You are an experienced and thoughtful people leader with a background in telecommunications or complex operational environments, and you bring a genuine commitment to developing others and building cohesive, high-performing teams. With deep experience in workflow, scheduling, and field operations, you are comfortable working with complex systems and large data sets, translating insights into practical, meaningful improvements. You bring a calm and proactive approach to managing competing priorities, and you are confident engaging with senior stakeholders, building trusted relationships that enable collaboration and shared success.

You are naturally curious and solutions-oriented, with a passion for continuous improvement and the confidence to contribute to transformation initiatives. You understand the importance of balancing customer experience, operational effectiveness, and commercial outcomes, and you approach challenges with optimism, resilience, and care.
