Workforce Roster Administrator Ellerslie, Auckland Full time, Permanent
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Workforce Rostering Administrator to support the effective management of our workforce rosters. This role is critical to ensuring accurate, real-time staffing information across multiple systems while maintaining high-quality long-term master rosters and leave applications. The position operates on a rotational shift pattern between 7:00am and 9:00pm, so flexibility in availability is required to meet operational needs.

What you’ll be doing
- Maintain and update workforce rosters in real time across multiple systems
- Manage and optimise long-term master rosters to ensure accuracy and stability
- Perform high-volume data entry and validation with exceptional attention to detail
- Monitor and manage changes including leave, shift swaps and unplanned absences
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies across systems quickly and effectively
- Communicate roster updates clearly with clinicians, managers and operational teams
- Support forward workforce planning by identifying trends, gaps and improvement opportunities
About you
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
- Proven experience in administration, data entry or rostering environments
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g. formulas, filtering, pivot tables)
- Comfortable working across multiple systems in real time
- Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Able to prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, proactive, and solutions-focused
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience with workforce rostering or scheduling systems
- Experience in healthcare or 24/7 operational environments
- Understanding of workforce compliance or fatigue management
