Role Summary
As a Working Student / Intern in Hardware Validation, you will join our Hardware Development team to support the development of innovative Battery Management Systems (BMS) and automotive electronic components. You will bridge the gap between theoretical design and real-world environmental and robustness testing, helping to ensure our ME products meet the highest standards of safety and performance for next-generation electric vehicles.
Your future tasks at a glance
Test Setup & Execution: Design and perform complex electrical and environmental setups for BMS products.
Lab Operations: Set up, operate, and monitor laboratory equipment, including climate chambers, power supplies, and high-precision measurement devices.
Python Automation: Develop and modify Python scripts to automate test sequences and perform advanced data analysis on large validation datasets.
Data Evaluation: Carry out measurements for concept and design validation, followed by the rigorous documentation and evaluation of test results.
Prototyping: Support the team in building prototypes and test samples for early-stage validation and robustness campaigns.
What you bring with you
Academic Background: Bachelor or Master student in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or a similar engineering field.
Programming Skills: Strong familiarity with Python specifically for data analysis and automation; experience with C/C++ or VBA is a plus.
Measurement Expertise: Solid theoretical and practical knowledge of electrical and thermal measurement techniques.
Lab Experience: Ideally, you have already worked in a professional or advanced lab environment with a "hands-on" mentality.
Mindset: Highly motivated to take responsibility for projects, with a passion for innovative electric vehicle solutions and energy storage systems.
Communication: Fluent in English; German language skills are a significant advantage.
