Job Summary

You will lead workplace safety and health efforts by assessing project risks, conducting inspections, managing incident investigations, and ensuring compliance with legal safety requirements to maintain a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk impact of project activities and issue Safety Stand Down to prevent hazards
• Communicate and coordinate with authorities, staff, clients, public, neighbors, and stakeholders on safety and health matters
• Conduct daily safety inspections and compile detailed reports and records to track compliance
• Perform regular inspections to ensure non-compliance issues are addressed with corrective actions supported by photographic evidence
• Investigate accidents and incidents, analyze causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions implemented
• Ensure all incident reporting complies with legal and regulatory requirements
• Execute other safety-related duties as assigned by the Project Manager

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO)
• Preferably registered as a Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Singapore

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience working on HDB Home Improvement Programme (HIP) projects
