The Wadhwani Foundation (WF) is a\nnot\-for\-profit organization established in 2000 by Silicon Valley entrepreneur\nDr. Romesh Wadhwani. Its primary mission is to accelerate economic development\nin emerging economies by driving large\-scale job creation through\nentrepreneurship, innovation, and skills development.<\/span>

Today, WF is scaling its impact across 25\ncountries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America, working with governments,\ncorporates, academic institutions, and ecosystem partners to deliver\nsustainable employment and entrepreneurship outcomes.<\/span>

Role Context<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
We are seeking a Business Leader with a\nproven track record of driving large\-scale skilling initiatives across India,\nand successfully engaging with multiple stakeholders such as Government bodies,\nVocational Education & Skill Development institutes, and Employers.<\/span>
<\/p>
The individual should demonstrate strong\ncapabilities in identifying, launching, and scaling new business opportunities\nwhile ensuring tangible outcomes and outputs.<\/span>

Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Lead the national skilling initiative\nend\-to\-end.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Drive both the supply & demand side\nof the skilling ecosystem at scale.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Expand and nurture existing as well as\nnew accounts.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensure beneficiary outcomes and outputs\nare met consistently.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Identify, design, and implement\ntech\-enabled business models.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Build and manage high\-performing teams\nwith strong leadership skills.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Establish and nurture networks of\nemployers, trainers, and mentors to strengthen the ecosystem.<\/span>

Skills & Experience\nRequired<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>7\-8 years of experience in B2C,\neducation, or skilling ecosystem.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Deep understanding of the Vocational\nTraining Providers (VTP)/Vocational Training Institutes (VTI) ecosystem and\nexperience working with government agencies.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Strong business acumen, strategic &\ninnovative thinking, and analytical rigor.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Demonstrated ability in data analytics,\nattention to detail, and outcome measurement.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Proven ability to leverage technology\nplatforms and digital tools for scale.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Strong business development and account\nmanagement skills.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Ability to make decisions in ambiguous\nenvironments with a strong sense of urgency.<\/span>
