Yard Labourer / Equipment Operator

We are currently looking for a reliable, hardworking Yard Labourer / Equipment Operator to join our team.

This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working outdoors, operating equipment, assisting with general yard duties, and responding to on-call maintenance needs as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate skid steer and telehandler safely and efficiently
• Load, unload, move, and organize materials in the yard
• Tow trailers and move equipment as needed
• Assist with general yard upkeep and housekeeping
• Perform basic building and property maintenance
• Support shop and yard operations where needed
• Be available for on-call yard and building maintenance when required
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Requirements

• Experience operating skid steer and telehandler
• Comfortable towing trailers and maneuvering equipment safely
• General mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to help wherever needed
• Physically capable of lifting, moving materials, and working in a labour-intensive environment
• Valid driver’s license required
• Experience with general maintenance is considered an asset
