The Youth Development Center Teacher provides care and early childhood education for infant, toddler or preschool children, ages 0-5, in a licensed childcare & preschool center environment.

  • Be a role model.
  • Develop and lead implementation of classroom curriculum and weekly lesson plans appropriate for age group.
  • Supervise the children, classroom, and Teaching Assistants assigned to the classroom.
  • Assure child safety by understanding and following safety and security procedures.
  • Maintain positive relationships and effective communication with parents.
  • Conduct student assessments and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Help assure a clean and well-organized classroom and equipment.
  • Respond immediately and appropriately to unexpected situations and emergencies.
  • Attend and be an active participant at staff meetings.

Full Time Shifts Available, Monday-Friday:

  • 7:00 am-4:00 pm
  • 7:30 am-4:00 pm
