Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong

The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage PBG’s Project Management Office, support the transformation to a Digital Savvy Bank, through leveraging the well-established inMotion Platform
• Support Head of PBG Office to perform strategic planning, analysis, communication and presentation.
• Design and establish PBG Project Management Governance Framework, including policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Champion the Bank’s Agile Culture Transformation (ACT) program - build the culture and capability to support continuous process improvement within the Bank by acting as an effective agent of change and role model
• Implement and compliance of anti-money laundering policy and relevant procedures.
• Provide management oversight and develop/maintain a strong compliance culture regarding regulatory and compliance matters as well as anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing control activities.
• Fosters an extensive and diverse internal network to exchange ideas focused on achieving long-term business objectives; and act as a facilitator to create win-win situation.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Business, Information Technology or related disciplines.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in personal/business/private banking with prior exposure in transformation/business planning and management.
• Preferably possess / obtain Core or Professional level of qualification under the HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) on Financial technology (Fintech).
• Excellent knowledge of different business lines and operations, including Personal and Business/Private Banking
• Thorough understanding of recent market development and banking business transformation trend
• Expert user of MS applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledgeable about industry and market developments, impact on own function, the Bank’s competitiveness
• Understand how the Bank’s range of products/ services relate to its business strategies
