Account Manager - Life Sciences

We are seeking a strategic Account Manager - Life Sciences to drive client success, growth and satisfaction across key accounts, with a strong emphasis on Pharma, Biotech and MedTech clients. Acting as a trusted advisor and engagement architect, you will partner with clients, internal teams and senior leadership to shape account strategies, oversee delivery excellence and ensure long-term business growth. Responsibilities Act as the primary Account Manager, collaborating closely with clients, internal teams, BU Heads and Sales Leads Align with senior Account Management leadership to co-develop and execute account plans for growth, delivery excellence and client satisfaction Serve as the engagement architect, defining account strategies and positioning EPAM for success across the Life Sciences value chain (R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Commercial and Patient Engagement) Build and nurture trusted relationships with senior-level client stakeholders and internal executives Support clients as a product owner, helping shape product vision, roadmaps and compelling customer value propositions Drive revenue growth across assigned accounts and support company financial objectives by achieving revenue and profit targets Expand EPAM's footprint within Life Sciences accounts, driving opportunities across digital transformation, data & analytics, clinical platforms, regulatory systems and commercial solutions Lead sales/pre-sales activities including opportunity assessments, RFP responses, proposal creation and client presentations Demonstrate services through in-person or virtual client sessions and maintain a monthly pipeline, tracking progress and reporting key metrics to leadership Partner with program/project management to ensure successful delivery through an integrated delivery model Shape and scope engagement models, pricing and delivery strategies aligned to Life Sciences compliance and regulatory requirements Ensure smooth transitions from sales to delivery, maintaining accountability for client outcomes and satisfaction Monitor performance metrics across large-scale accounts and ensure alignment with business goals Stay abreast of market trends, emerging technologies and industry challenges across Life Sciences such as digital health, real-world evidence and pharmacovigilance Serve as an expert consultant guiding business transformation, product strategy and innovation initiatives for Life Sciences clients Requirements 18+ years of experience in account management with large enterprise accounts Proven record of achieving and exceeding sales and revenue goals Expertise in the Pharma, Biotech and MedTech ecosystem including clinical trials, regulatory compliance and pharmacovigilance Knowledge of commercial operations and patient-centric solutions Understanding of technology platforms, digital transformation and IT services within Life Sciences and healthcare ecosystems Capability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels to deliver client and business success Skills in team leadership, performance management and cross-functional collaboration Proficiency in presentation, negotiation and relationship-building with senior stakeholders Competency in problem-solving, critical thinking and solution design
