ACCOUNTANT, ASSOC
Job Summary:
Supports treasury operations, including daily cash flow monitoring and FX exposure forecasting, while managing e‑invoice preparation and compliance in accordance with regulatory requirements.
The position reports to Treasury Supervisor and Accounting Manager
- Monitor daily cash flow, perform monthly & quarterly cash flow projections and FX Exposure forecast.
- Ensure proper recording of inter-company and non-trade AR/AP transactions.
- Prepare periodical reports to Statistic Department, Central Bank and MIDA
- Prepare and submission of e-invoice for inter-company and monitoring of e-invoice process to ensure compliance with IRB requirement.
- Liaison person for payment related issue between AP share service team and supplier.
- Perform reconciliation and account analysis and resolve issues, if any.
- Ensure compliance to SOX requirement
Requirements:
- Bachelor in Accounting.
- Preferably with 2 to 3 years’ relevant experience in auditing field is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of MASB Approved Accounting Standards for Private Entities, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), SOX and e-invoice are essential.
- Exposure to computerized accounting systems is essential (e.g Oracle System) and AI (e.g copilot)
- Knowledge of relevant local taxation and pension/ social contribution regulations and development is preferred.
- Effective communication skills are crucial.
- Must be organized and adaptable.
- Trouble shooting and creative problem-solving skills.
- Experience in completing process simplification projects in previous/current job/roles
- Knowledge of AI
