Finance Manager
Job Summary
This role will oversee financial reports, ensure compliance with financial regulations, lead budgeting and forecasting processes, and monitor organizational financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting processes to maintain accurate and compliant financial records
- Administer and review financial plans and budgets to manage cash flow and forecasting effectively
- Monitor outstanding receivables and ensure timely collections and payments
- Ensure compliance with Singapore GST, tax, and statutory financial requirements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, purchase orders, approvals, and billing processes
- Collaborate with internal teams, auditors, and tax advisors to support financial operations
- Provide financial insights, cash flow planning, and grant support to the Managing Director for business expansion and cash flow management
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience; experience in the education industry is advantageous
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Unit4 is advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive working attitude, responsibility, and willingness to learn
