Finance Manager

Job Summary

This role will oversee financial reports, ensure compliance with financial regulations, lead budgeting and forecasting processes, and monitor organizational financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting processes to maintain accurate and compliant financial records
• Administer and review financial plans and budgets to manage cash flow and forecasting effectively
• Monitor outstanding receivables and ensure timely collections and payments
• Ensure compliance with Singapore GST, tax, and statutory financial requirements
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, purchase orders, approvals, and billing processes
• Collaborate with internal teams, auditors, and tax advisors to support financial operations
• Provide financial insights, cash flow planning, and grant support to the Managing Director for business expansion and cash flow management

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience; experience in the education industry is advantageous
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Unit4 is advantageous
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive working attitude, responsibility, and willingness to learn
