Accountant

Key responsibilities:

  • Management and Accounting for the AP/AR functions
  • Maintenance of the General Ledger
  • Maintenance & Reconciliation of the Fixed Assets Register
  • Prepare and submit monthly BAS Returns to ATO
  • Complete monthly bank reconciliation
  • Prepare month end journals
  • Assist with Payroll for AU and PNG (Working with external provider)
  • Provide management with relevant information and reports as required including variance analysis.
  • Support process improvements.
  • Other ad hoc accounting and /or admin activities
  • Experience in group consolidation and Xero is desirable.
