Accountant
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and month-end closing, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly management reports, financial statements, and financial analysis to support business decision-making.
- Assist in annual budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning exercises.
- Support external and internal audits, as well as corporate tax and GST preparation, computation, and submission.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and statutory requirements.
- Drive process improvements and support the implementation of accounting systems, automation tools, or AI-enabled solutions where applicable.
- Perform other ad-hoc finance and accounting duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; professional certification (ACCA/CPA/CA) is an advantage.
- Approximately 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a full-set accounting role.
- Strong understanding of Singapore financial reporting standards, GST, and tax compliance.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g. SAP, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Exposure to accounting automation tools or AI-based finance systems is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
