Accounts Assistant/Executive
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping, invoicing, and expense tracking across multiple entities.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions efficiently.
- Ensure timely submission of corporate tax, GST, and other statutory compliance reports.
- Oversee all banking functions, including monthly bank reconciliations.
- Attend to enquiries and surveys related to financial matters.
- Assist in budget preparation, financial analysis, and cost management.
- Administer monthly payroll, CPF contributions, and related HR submissions such as IR8A and IR21.
- Process employee claims and handle HR-related documentation.
- Manage applications for permits, passes, and grants, and perform other general administrative duties.
- Experience in project management &/or cost accounting will be an advantage.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience with strong knowledge of accounting standards, Employment Act, and HR practices/regulations.
- Able to work independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Meticulous, logical thinker, and willing to learn and take on new challenges.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office applications.
- Experience using Xero Accounting and InfoTech HRMS software preferred.
