Accounting Assistant
- Handles and maintains accurate balance sheet, assists in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, and ensures proper documentation and support for all accounting entries and adjustments.
- Prepares and files all applicable hotel taxes, ensures timely preparation and submission of BIR returns, and handles documentation, schedules, and coordination for BIR and local tax audits and inspections.
- Monitors and oversees renewal of government permits, licenses, and registrations by coordinating with departments and external parties to ensure timely renewal, and maintains filing systems for all documents.
- Graduate of Accountancy, Finance, or any related degree
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in accounting or taxation, preferably within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment, is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid working knowledge of Philippine taxation, BIR regulations, LGU compliance, and MS Office applications.
