Income Audit Supervisor

  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of all hotel revenue transactions across all revenue centres.
  • Audit and reconcile daily revenue from Rooms, Food & Beverage outlets, Banqueting, Spa, and other ancillary revenue streams.
  • Review and verify Opera PMS night audit reports, identifying and investigating variances, posting errors, rebates, complimentary postings, and other discrepancies.
  • Prepare and distribute the Daily Revenue Report (DRR) accurately and on time for management review.
  • Reconcile revenue between Opera PMS and POS systems to ensure all transactions are correctly recorded.
  • Verify banquet and event charges against approved contracts and supporting documentation.
  • Review rebates, voids, complimentary transactions, no-shows, and rate overrides to ensure proper authorization and compliance with policies.
  • Reconcile loyalty programme transactions, corporate billing, and OTA commission statements, and escalate discrepancies when necessary.
  • Prepare daily Output VAT and Trial Balance reports.
  • Conduct periodic cashier audits and report discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain complete, organised, and audit-ready documentation (electronic and physical).
  • Ensure compliance with hotel financial policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audit processes as required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in income audit, night audit, or hotel finance in a 4–5 star or premium hotel environment.
  • Experience with Opera PMS and POS systems is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel revenue operations, accounting principles, VAT/tax reporting, and internal controls.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
