Accounts Analysis Clerk

Responsibilities

  • Perform account reconciliations by balancing and analyzing assigned accounts, investigating discrepancies, and verifying transactions
  • Accurately record and maintain financial data, including daily cash receipts, expenses, and journal entries in the accounting system
  • Assist the finance team with month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Prepare and support the drafting of periodic financial and management reports
  • Gather and organize required documentation for internal and external audits and respond to audit queries
  • Handle accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and employee expense claims processing
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls
  • Support other finance and administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
  • Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and organizational skills
