Acoustic Engineer
You will work collaboratively on the acoustic integration design and implementation for our iPhone and Apple Watch projects. This role requires continuous cross-functional partnership with teams spanning transducer design, audio tuning, system hardware, software, mechanical engineering, and quality reliability. You will help bring extraordinary acoustic designs from concept to mass production, applying exceptional attention to detail to products that reach millions of people worldwide.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Acoustics, Mechanical Vibration, Electronics or a related field.
Understand the fundamentals of Acoustics (such as sound waves, propagation, sound fields, etc.).
Understand the speaker and microphone structures, along with acoustic equivalent circuit simulation.
Proficiency in English and Mandarin communication to support global cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with acoustic testing systems (such as SoundCheck, Klippel, or Audio Precision).
Experience with finite element modeling simulation (such as COMSOL or ANSYS).
Experience developing audio test scripts (such as MATLAB, Python, or similar languages)
Knowledge of audio signal processing and digital signal processing.
