Acoustics Engineer
As part of our team, you will work in closely with US counterparts and cross-functional teams to support development builds for new products. This will include validating acoustic designs, leading failure analysis and establishing corrective actions as part of a larger team. You will also enable and verify new design concepts through experiments and map out strategy for acoustic hardware test stations. The role request approximately 40% domestic travels to support engineering activities.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Acoustics/Mechanical vibration or a related field
Understand the fundamentals of Acoustics (such as sound waves, propagation, sound fields, etc.).
Familiar with the structure and theory of speakers/transducers and microphones, and simulation of acoustic equivalent circuits.
Experienced acoustic test (can be Soundcheck, Klippel, AP or similar).
Good communication skills with both English and Mandarin.
Preferred Qualifications
Skilled with finite element modeling simulation (can be COMSOL, ANSYS, or similar).
Experience with 3D validated modeling and meshing tools (UG, SolidWork, CAD or similar).
Experienced professional with a history of working with contract manufacturers.
Experienced in audio test script development (Matlab, Python etc.).
Familiar with audio signal processing, digital signal processing.
Good collaboration ability.
