Advanced Mech Design Engr

As an Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be a key contributor to the design and development of cutting-edge mechanical solutions. Your strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies will ensure that the products developed under your leadership meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Your proficiency in CAD software and other design tools will enable you to effectively oversee the design process and ensure the delivery of innovative and high-performance mechanical solutions.

You will report directly to our Sr Mechanical Engineer Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Mexico City, Mexico location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the creation and delivery of advanced mechanical designs that enhance product performance and reliability, contributing to Honeywell’s leadership in innovative industrial solutions.

• Lead and drive the mechanical design process, from concept to production
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements and specifications
• Design and develop complex mechanical systems, components, and assemblies

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
• 6+ years of experience in mechanical design and development
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies
• Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools, experience with mechanical analysis and simulation tools to ensure product performance and reliability

• Experience with mechanical analysis and simulation tools

WE VALUE

• Advanced degrees such as Mechanical Engineering (ME) or related field
• Material handling industry
• Proven track record of successful mechanical design projects
• Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers
• Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices
• Experience with product testing and validation, knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
