Agile Product Owner Lead

This is a senior-level role for a recognized subject matter expert who can lead large-scale technology initiatives with minimal oversight. You will be responsible for driving technical direction, solving complex problems, mentoring team members, and influencing standards, practices, and solution design across systems and projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and manage large technology projects or systems with limited managerial oversight
• Act as a subject matter expert within your technical domain
• Drive innovative solutions to complex technical and business problems
• Influence technical direction, architecture decisions, and product evolution
• Coach, mentor, and review the work of junior and mid-level team members
• Delegate tasks effectively to ensure high-quality and timely delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define and refine requirements
• Influence policies, practices, and procedures across engineering and delivery teams
• Create and maintain solution documentation, workflows, and system designs

What You Bring

• Strong experience working as a senior technical expert, analyst, or similar role
• Proven ability to manage and deliver complex systems or large-scale projects
• Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to handle ambiguous challenges
• Experience mentoring and guiding technical teams
• Strong stakeholder communication and influencing skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of database structures and data modeling
• Advanced SQL and experience writing complex queries
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server Management Studio
• Experience with API design, integration, and testing
• Familiarity with tools such as SoapUI, Postman, or Bruno
• Experience creating process flows and system diagrams using Visio
• Familiarity with wireframing and prototyping tools such as Balsamiq

Nice to Have

• Experience working in enterprise or large-scale distributed environments
• Exposure to system architecture and integration-heavy projects
• Experience influencing engineering standards or governance
