Application Engineer (Automation Equipment)

AEM is a global leader in semiconductor and electronics test solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated Application Engineer to develop and deliver application solutions across ABI, SLT, and ATE platforms.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, support project execution, and ensure successful deployment and sustainment of solutions to meet customer needs.

Job Description

· Develop and implement application solutions for ABI, SLT, and ATE platforms.

· Define technical requirements, scope of work, and support cost estimation and quotation activities.

· Collaborate with Engineering and Production Centers to ensure timely and quality delivery.

· Manage the design, development, and assembly of application boards.

· Develop, validate, and optimize test programs in accordance with customer specifications.

· Lead release, customer acceptance, and production roll-out activities.

· Provide sustaining engineering support to ensure long-term solution performance and reliability.

· Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive project success.

Job Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.

· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in application engineering, test development, or related field.

· Good understanding of analog and digital electronics, metrology, and semiconductor test processes.

· Experience in project management, including resource planning, budgeting, and reporting.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to operate in a global environment.

· Proficient in English (spoken and written).

· Prior experience in Semiconductor industry, ATE, ABI, or SLT environments is an advantage.
