As an Assembler at our Millington facility, you will assemble mechanical, electrical, and electronic components using a variety of hand and power tools to produce high-quality finished products. This role includes inspecting assemblies for accuracy, maintaining equipment and work areas, and collaborating with team members to ensure safety and production goals are met.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Assemble mechanical, electrical, or electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems according to work instructions
Use a variety of hand and power tools to perform precise assembly work
Install components, wiring, fasteners, or casings using bolts, rivets, soldering, or micro‑welding techniques
Clean parts and finished assemblies using approved cleaning methods and materials
Inspect work to ensure quality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications
Maintain production equipment, tools, and a clean, organized work area
YOU HAVE:
High school diploma or GED
Experience in mechanical, electrical, or electronic assembly in a manufacturing environment
.Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic assembly equipment safely and effectively
Good hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity for working with small or detailed parts
Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, or assembly documentation
Team members must be able to safely perform a range of physical activities, including standing and walking for extended periods, with frequent use of hands for tasks requiring dexterity and grip.
Roles may require frequent bending, kneeling, and maintaining balance, with occasional climbing or repositioning to support production needs.
This position is classified as medium work, requiring the ability to lift, carry, or move materials up to 50 lbs occasionally, 30 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs consistently.
Employees must be able to effectively communicate, hear, and visually assess work to ensure quality, safety, and accuracy in a manufacturing environment.

Pay Transparency
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range:
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
